Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive curriculum plans that align with the developmental needs and learning objectives of both preschool and kindergarten students.
• Integrate various learning domains, including language and literacy, numeracy, science, social studies, creative arts, and social-emotional development.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of preschool and kindergarten students.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, materials, and resources to facilitate learning and skill development.
• Assess students' progress and learning outcomes through ongoing observation, informal assessments, and formal evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments and use data to inform instructional planning and differentiation.
• Provide individualized support and instruction to students who may require additional assistance or enrichment, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported according to their needs.
• Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
• Collaborate with parents to support their child's learning and development both at home and in the classroom.
• Foster the social-emotional development of preschool and kindergarten students b promoting positive relationships, self-regulation, empathy, and conflict resolution skill
• Create opportunities for cooperative play, group activities, and peer interactions to enhance social skills and emotional intelligence.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Education/ Montessori Education
• Previous experience working with young children in preschool and kindergarten settings.
• Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Creativity and the ability to design engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and families in a combined preschool and kindergarten setting.

Location: Saasabi near Oyibi
