Job Summary
We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant who lives in Kumasi, with a strong tax background to work directly with the Managing Director and Company Secretary. The ideal candidate will assist with managing accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax laws.
- Payroll management
- Prepare and submit tax filings (Income Tax, SSNIT).
- Handle invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights into financial health.
- Preparation of budgets, expense tracking, and financial planning.
- Offer expert advice on tax compliance and best practices.
- Bank reconciliation and monthly closing of accounts
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Organizing and classifying expense receipts
- Filing of financial statements at Register General Department
- Opening bank accounts and handling correspondence with the Bank
- Other accounting-related duties
Qualifications:
- Must reside in Kumasi
- ACCA Certified Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven 4 years of work experience as an Accountant with strong Tax experience
- In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and accounting regulations.
- Computer literate with strong proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Familiar with using Email, Video Conferencing tools and Cloud Storage tools such as Google Drive
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
