Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Project Management
- Oversee daily operations related to architectural projects, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to timelines.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project execution aligns with company goals.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and resource allocation for operational activities.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve operational challenges.
Architectural & Technical Oversight
- Ensure that architectural designs and construction processes comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to align with project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to the operations and project teams.
Process Improvement & Quality Control
- Identify bottlenecks in operations and propose innovative solutions for efficiency.
- Establish quality control standards to maintain design integrity and project excellence.
- Implement best practices in project execution, sustainability, and construction methodologies.
Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and support staff.
- Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety guidelines, and corporate policies.
- Identify potential risks in operations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage operational crises and implement contingency plans when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management, preferably within an architectural or construction firm.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and operational costs effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
