We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Manager with Accounting Background to oversee office operations while managing financial activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll processing, and the efficient management of office administration. This role requires a proactive professional with strong financial acumen and excellent organizational skills.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.


Bookkeeping & Records Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Ensure proper documentation of expenses, invoices, and receipts.


Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Track company income and expenses.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Process vendor payments and manage supplier accounts.


Tax Compliance & Regulatory Filings

  • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, corporate tax, SSNIT, and PAYE.
  • Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and other regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and financial regulations.


Payroll Processing & Employee Compensation

  • Manage employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payment of staff.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.


Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial stability.
  • Forecast cash flow and recommend cost-cutting strategies.
  • Support strategic decision-making with financial data.


Financial Audits & Internal Controls

  • Maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
  • Assist external auditors with company financial audits.
  • Implement financial best practices to improve efficiency.


ERP & Accounting Software Management (Including QuickBooks)

  • Maintain and update company financial records in ERP & QuickBooks.
  • Ensure proper integration of ERP with financial processes.
  • Generate reports and financial insights using ERP software.
  • Train relevant staff on ERP and financial processes where necessary.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or office management role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
