About the Role: Office Manager, Kumasi

As the Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in solidifying IDP's position as a global leader in international student placement. You will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious growth targets by developing and implementing strategic business plans focused on generating a robust pipeline of student leads and maximizing conversion rates. This involves cultivating strong and lasting relationships with prospective students and their families, ensuring a seamless and engaging client journey.

Beyond external engagement, you will be a key contributor to creating and maintaining a world-class operating environment within our office. This includes optimizing office efficiency, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture, and ensuring adherence to global standards and processes. You will also be actively involved in the implementation of global projects, contributing your local expertise to their successful execution.

As a vital member of the country leadership team, you will leverage your strong business acumen to nurture a high-performance driven culture. You will empower and develop your team through effective mentoring, coaching, and consistent communication, fostering a highly engaged workforce committed to achieving exceptional business results. Your leadership will be crucial in driving team success and contributing to the overall strategic direction of IDP within the country.

Position Location - Kumasi, Ghana

In This Role, You Will

  • Strategic Business Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans aligned with IDP's overall strategy to achieve pipeline lead generation and conversion targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and other key stakeholders, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout their journey.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Implement effective strategies and initiatives to generate high-quality leads and optimize the conversion process, contributing directly to revenue growth.
  • World-Class Operating Environment: Foster a productive, efficient, and positive office environment that reflects IDP's global standards and values.
  • Global Project Implementation: Actively participate in the implementation of global projects, providing valuable local insights and ensuring successful adoption.
  • Performance-Driven Culture: Lead and inspire the office team by providing effective mentoring, coaching, and regular communication to drive high engagement and exceptional performance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Nurture the professional growth of team members, identify development opportunities, and foster a collaborative and supportive team dynamic.
  • Country Leadership Team Contribution: Actively contribute to the strategic discussions and decision-making processes of the country leadership team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators, analyze results, and provide regular reports to the leadership team on progress against targets.

Required Experience

Work Experience: 4-5 years’ experience working in international Higher education sector or study abroad programs.

Academic Background: Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.

Business Management: Proven experience in managing operations within a customer-focused, international organization.

Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and analyze budgets, with a focus on achieving business objectives.

Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver results.

Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including students and clients.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve challenges effectively.

Ethical Leadership: Committed to upholding high ethical standards and acting in the best interests of the organization.

Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional service to students and clients.
