Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma in Education or a Montessori certification and will be responsible for fostering an enriched learning environment, promoting students' personal and academic growth, and supporting their development through the Montessori method.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing the Learning Environment:
- Maintain an organized, clean, and child-friendly classroom.
- Ensure that Montessori materials are available, appropriate, and suitable for students’ developmental stages.
- Create an inviting space that promotes exploration, creativity, and independence.
Observing and Assessing Students:
- Observe children to understand their individual needs, interests, and progress.
- Record detailed observations and maintain accurate student records.
- Plan and adapt individualized lessons based on observations to address learning challenges and support development.
Facilitating Learning:
- Deliver lessons using Montessori materials and hands-on methods to facilitate experiential learning.
- Guide students in selecting age-appropriate activities that promote engagement, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Encourage exploration in practical life skills, sensory awareness, and academic subjects.
Encouraging Independence:
- Foster a sense of responsibility and self-discipline in each child.
- Promote decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration skills among students.
- Support the development of executive functions such as focus, self-control, and emotional regulation.
Building Relationships:
- Create a supportive, nurturing, and safe environment that fosters trust and respect.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
- Collaborate effectively with other educators, support staff, and management to enhance the educational experience.
Modeling Behavior:
- Demonstrate patience, respect, and compassion towards students at all times.
- Model positive social interactions, conflict resolution, and a passion for lifelong learning.
- Encourage kindness, empathy, and inclusivity in daily classroom interactions.
Continuous Professional Development:
- Stay current with Montessori educational principles and child development theories.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and conferences.
- Continuously refine teaching practices based on new research and emerging best practices in education.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Education or a recognized Montessori certification.
- Strong understanding of the Montessori philosophy and approach to education.
- Experience working with young children (ideally in a Montessori setting) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to observe, assess, and respond to students' individual needs.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting the development of each child.
- Strong collaborative skills and a willingness to work with a team of educators and staff.
