Job Description/Requirements
To provide operational, administrative and maintenance support for the Mobile Money platforms and services by providing quality support to ensure high service availability and reliability.
The role is to also work with Business Unit, Revenue Assurance, FRS, Finance and other Technology departments to plan, develop and implement new products, tariffs and run promotions
Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership
Contribute to Network and Mobile money strategy Roadmap development and delivery.
Provide System maintenance support for all Mobile Money platforms including the implementation of platform upgrades and system expansions as well as solution provision to issues/problems.
Analyze technical specifications and implement tariff and promotion configurations
Propose optimization and modification for existing and new integrations to Banks and Merchant Networks.
Execute decisions to maintain service continuity of the Mobile Money platforms and services while ensuring the maintenance of quality of service.
Efficiently engage members of other departments in resolution of issues
Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of mobile money business solutions / configurations in conjunction with MPA and Huawei
Communicate benefits of new mobile money products and changes at various technology and business levels
Provide first and second level maintenance support for Telecel Cash SMSC. This shall include but not limited to all SMS related escalations, implementation of platform upgrades and expansions.
Provide first and second level maintenance support for ETL platform for data extraction, transformation and Load for all critical integrations into Telecel Cash by third Parties
Train and assist Business users on the use of Market Data feeds for business intelligence analysis and applications
Follow data extraction rules application for file loading into the mobile money Ecosystem from all external data feeds
Support the design, development, and implementation of information analytics for mobile money space working in conjunction with BI and all other business stakeholders
Proactively manage all mobile money systems patching and up to date licensing
Develop interface templates for all outbound and inbound service integrations to enable external party setup into Mobile Money service
Proactively manage improved service experience working together with IT digital systems team and other third parties
Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience
Extensive use of SQL and RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skill and ability to extract implementation requirements from high level request descriptions.
Efficiently manage vendors and third-party agencies
Demonstrate technical leadership and execute best operational practices.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of procedures and customer related processes
Experience with working with trouble ticketing systems.
Must Have Technical/Professional Qualifications
BSc Electrical & Electronic Engineering or BSc Telecom & Computer Engineering or BSc Computer Science
More than 3 years’ experience in Mobile Money operations.
