Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Metal Fabricator to fabricate metal products and equipment. The successful candidate should have experience working with various metals, fabrication techniques, and equipment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate metal products.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, bending).
- Operate fabrication equipment, such as CNC machines, saws, drills, and presses.
- Ensure accurate measurements, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., welders, machinists) to complete project
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new fabrication techniques and processes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication or a related trade.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in fabrication techniques, including welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), cutting, and bending.
- Experience operating fabrication equipment, such as CNC machines, saws, and presses.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipment.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy metal components.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CWB).
- Experience with CAD design software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Supervisory or leadership experience.
