Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components with integration of electrical subsystems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system functionality.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Conduct simulations and stress tests to validate designs.
- Assist in the selection of materials and components, considering mechanical and electrical requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical-electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in product design and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or closely related field).
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design with practical exposure to electrical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, OrCAD).
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, motors, sensors, wiring, and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, prototyping, and testing equipment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
