Marketing Officer

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Prospects for clients and builds rapport with existing and potential customers
• Identifying potential customers and maintain accurate records
• Meets set monthly sales targets
• Marketing of products to existing and prospective customers
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
• Makes key decisions regarding product distribution to customers
• Handles discount invoicing for some customers with approval from the Marketing Manager
• Conducting research and analysis on market trends, and competitor offerings and other information on product that affects marketing strategies
• Maintains up-to-date information on product knowledge and prices
• Develop new strategies to improve client satisfaction
• Prepare orders/invoices for customers
• Any other duty as assigned by management

Education / Experience:

• Diploma/HND/Degree from accredited institution
• 2-3 years’ work experience
• Related experience in a similar role

• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Report writing skills
• Possess a strong work ethic
• A team payer with customer-oriented approach
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of relevant marketing techniques and principles
