Job Description/Requirements











Our multinational client who provides training programs for students within the Tech Space require an experienced Marketing Officer to join their team in Ghana. Reporting to the CEO/Career Services Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for executing both traditional and digital marketing strategies to attract and engage students, employers and other stakeholders while driving brand awareness and increase enrollment.









Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement traditional marketing initiatives to promote training programs and increase enrollment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, community groups, industry partners and influencers to generate leads and referrals across diverse audiences across Ghana and Africa.
  • Design impactful campaigns to promote the organisation's programs with a focus on increasing visibility, applications, and enrollment.
  • Represent the organization at education fairs, career expos and other events to engage with prospective students.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and student needs and on competitor activities.
  • Monitor and guide prospective students through the enrollment process, ensuring personalized follow-ups to drive high conversion rates.
  • Develop and create engaging content such as social media posts, videos, blogs and newsletters to showcase success stories to boost brand visibility.
  • Maintain and enhance the organization’s website social media channels.
  • Implement lead generation strategies using email marketing, paid ads and organic growth tactics in coordination with the admissions team.
  • Evaluate marketing efforts and campaign performance and report on their effectiveness as well as make data-driven adjustments.

Requirements

  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in marketing in the media space or similar role.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, SEO, email marketing and analytics.
  • Must be proactive and be able to work independently.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
