Marketing Manager

Responsibilities;

• Develop and implement marketing strategies: Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote our travel and tour services, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.
• Create marketing materials: Design and produce high-quality marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, fliers, social media graphics, and email newsletters.
• Manage social media: Develop and implement a social media strategy to engage with customers, promote our services, and build brand awareness on Twitter (aka X), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other platforms.
• Write and edit content: Create compelling and informative content for marketing materials, social media, and website, ensuring excellent written English language skills.
• Compile sustainability report: Research and compile data to produce the company sustainability report, highlighting the company's environmental and social impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure aligned marketing efforts and effective communication.
• Analyze and report on marketing metrics: Monitor and analyze marketing performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies.
• Achieve financial targets set

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
• Marketing design skills: Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator CapCut and other top professional applications).
• Excellent written English language skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content.
• Time management and resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the African continent: Strong understanding of African cultures, geography, and tourism industry trends.
• Social media expertise: Sophistication in social media marketing, including content creation, paid advertising, and engagement strategies.
• Analytical and reporting skills: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies.
