Job Description/Requirements
Job Purpose:
To support the CEO in raising the visibility of the school by carrying out an effective marketing, sales and communication strategy to:
- Attract new students and publicize the strengths of the academic faculty, school facilities, and services.
- Promote the profile of the school to external audiences.
- Maintain coherent internal and external messaging about school increase growth of the school in numbers, branches and impact
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of parent needs and local market trends to inform school marketing strategies.
- Apply market insights and creative thinking to shape the school proposition for relevance and appeal.
- Develop marketing strategies, including product development, pricing, communication plans, and parent engagement programs to boost enrolment.
- Own the overall parent experience across all marketing touchpoints.
Marketing Execution:
- Implement advertising, communication, and event activities for recruitment and retention.
- Manage the production of the annual school magazine.
- Execute PR initiatives across digital and offline channels to enhance brand awareness.
- Update school website content and manage social media channels.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with parents, feeder schools, and community organizations to enhance awareness and enrolment.
- Work collaboratively with admissions and other school departments to share best practices.
Other Duties:
- Set agendas and chair internal strategic marketing meetings.
- Coordinate and provide marketing support for school events like Open Days, annual graduation, and major audits.
Person Specification:
- Experience: At least 5 years in marketing (strategic planning, digital marketing, events management, or PR).
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and creative skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Languages:
- English and Twi
Additional Skills:
- Customer service expertise, adaptability, willingness to travel, and cultural knowledge.
Working Conditions:
Hours: One (1) year initial contract renewable subject to performance
Salary: Competitive and performance commission included
