Job Summary

The Market Representatives are responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products or services within a specific market segment or geographic region. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring the company’s offerings meet the needs of the target market. The Market Representatives would typically work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to identify current market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Analyze data to understand consumer preferences and identify growth opportunities in target markets. Provide feedback on customer expectations, competitor offerings, and market conditions to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Sales and Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events. Identify key decision-makers in target accounts and build relationships with them. Present company products/services to potential clients, highlighting features and benefits. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, ensuring win- win scenarios for both parties. Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Provide after-sales support and ensure smooth product delivery and implementation. Gather customer feedback and communicate it to internal teams to improve products or services.
  • Market Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement targeted marketing campaigns, product promotions, and events. Support product launches and promotional activities to drive market penetration. Monitor the effectiveness of market strategies and suggest improvements as necessary.
  • Reporting & Administrative Tasks: Track sales activities, leads, and customer interactions. Prepare regular reports on market performance, sales progress, and competitive landscape. Provide forecasts on potential sales and market opportunities. Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, including processing orders, contracts, and payment follow-ups.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with the marketing team to develop materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences. Collaborate with product managers to provide customer insights and help align product offerings with market needs. Coordinate with logistics and support teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales, market development, or related roles. Experience in the industry (FMCG) is a plus


Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
