Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations & Management
- Oversee daily retail operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks to minimize stock outs and losses.
- Maintain an appealing store layout and ensure all items are properly displayed.
- Monitor and evaluate store performance, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Sales & Customer Experience:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to achieve high levels of performance.
- Create staff schedules and assign responsibilities to ensure optimal coverage.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance metrics, and updates.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Manage the store budget and control expenses to maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales data and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Marketing & Promotions
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store promotions and campaigns.
- Provide input on customer preferences and trends to influence product selection and marketing efforts.
- Ensure promotional materials are properly displayed and executed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in fashion or ladies’ items.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and retail software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with an eye for detail and trends.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of fashion retail and current trends.
- Experience managing multiple store locations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and customer engagement strategies.
