We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lubricant Technical Support Specialist Intern to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the lubricant industry.
Job Summary:
The Lubricant Technical Support Specialist Intern will assist our technical team in providing expert support to customers regarding lubricant selection, application, and troubleshooting. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about various lubricant products, industry standards, and best practices while developing essential technical and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in responding to customer inquiries regarding lubricant specifications, applications, and performance.
- Support the technical team in conducting lubricant analysis and interpreting results.
- Help prepare technical reports, presentations, and training materials.
- Assist in performing site visits to customer locations for lubricant assessments and troubleshooting.
- Support the organization and maintenance of lubricant product information and technical documentation.
- Learn and apply industry standards and best practices related to lubricant handling and application.
- Assist in conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide technical support for customer events and promotions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical support activities.
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the lubricant lab.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong interest in the lubricant industry and technical applications.
- Basic understanding of lubricant types, properties, and applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be willing to perform site visits.
