Job Description/Requirements
A reputable rural bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking to employ qualified persons as Tellers for the bank.
Job Duties
• Receiving customers deposits and recording same in their pass books as appropriate
• Payment of cheques/withdrawals issued by customers on the bank
• Capturing daily cash deposit/withdrawal transactions into the Bank's system
• Effective balancing of teller transactions for the day
• Calling over of day's transaction with a scheduled officer
• Updating of treasury register and treasury slips file.
• Monitoring cubicle cash levels not to exceed cubicle insurance limit
• Assisting in marketing the bank's products and services
• Closing cash with head tellers
• Any other duties with head tellers
• Any other duties assigned by branch manager and management
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must have first degree in a relevant field from a recognized University
OR
• An HND or University Diploma, with at least 3 years as Clerk Grade III.

• Good team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate
• Ability to work long hours
• Good communication skills
