Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
IT Leadership:
- Oversee the company's IT operations, including software development, infrastructure management, and security protocols.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless technology integration in business operations.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and manage IT-related risks.
Sales and Business Development:
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Utilize technical expertise to support the sales process, including providing insights on product features and solutions to meet client needs.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and presentations to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends to identify new opportunities for growth in the software development sector.
Vendor and Client Management:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Act as the primary technical contact foar clients, ensuring that their requirements are met, and managing service level agreements (SLAs).
Budgeting and Planning:
- Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions that align with the company’s objectives.
- Contribute to strategic planning, particularly in IT infrastructure, software development, and future tech initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A business or sales qualification would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the software development industry.
- Proven experience in a sales role, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
