Job Summary

The HR Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within the IT sector. The HR Manager ensures that the company human capital serves the best interests of the business while supporting the professional growth and development of IT employees.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire top IT talent.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with IT department heads to understand technical requirements and create effective job descriptions.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, and recruitment agencies.


Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary HR contact for IT employees, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with the companys culture.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with IT staff to ensure job satisfaction and address any issues
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.


Performance Management:

  • Implement performance appraisal processes tailored to the IT department.
  • Collaborate with IT managers to set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
  • Support career development and succession planning within the IT department.


HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management within the IT sector.
  • Implement and manage employee benefits programs suitable for IT professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.


Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve HR practices and employee engagement.
  • Participate in budget planning and management for HR activities related to the IT department.


Other Duties:

  • Organize and participate in employee engagement activities and team-building events.
  • Support HR initiatives such as diversity and inclusion programs, wellness initiatives, and employee recognition programs.
  • Assist with other HR projects and tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
