Job Description/Requirements

We are seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to join our hotel as a Hotel Assistant In this combined role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel while providing exceptional customer service at the front desk. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a close-knit team, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable, welcoming, and seamless stay.


Responsibilities:

Hotel Assistant  Duties:

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other room amenities.
  • Replenish toiletries, clean supplies, and minibar items as needed.
  • Empty trash bins, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust surfaces in rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure laundry is collected and fresh linens are restocked for guests.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department or management.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures while using cleaning supplies.


Hotel Assistant Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Assist guests with bookings, inquiries, and special requests, offering a friendly and personalized service.
  • Answer phone calls and manage reservations both in person and through various booking platforms.
  • Provide guests with information about the local area, hotel facilities, and services.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating them to management when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, room availability, and guest preferences.
  • Assist with billing, processing payments, and other administrative tasks.
  • Keep the front desk area clean and organized.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience in hospitality or similar roles is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to switch between cleaning and reception duties efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a family-oriented team.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service.
