Head of School

Key Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership: Develop and implement the school's academic vision, ensuring alignment with Montessori principles and the Ghana Education Service curriculum to achieve consistent, high-performing school-wide results.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure high-quality instruction and professional growth.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily school operations, including facilities management, budgeting, and administrative functions.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, and the broader community to promote the school's mission and values.
• Curriculum Development: Design and implement curriculum plans that cater to student needs while adhering to Montessori standards and GES requirements.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Establish assessment methods to measure student progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Professional Development: Provide regular training and growth opportunities for staff to stay updated with best practices in Montessori education.
• Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the school, parents, staff, and the broader community, ensuring clear and transparent communication.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Education: Master's Degree in Education or related field.
• Certification: Montessori Certification (an added advantage).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Montessori school or similar environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management abilities to inspire and motivate staff.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to foster stakeholder relationships.
• Montessori Knowledge: Deep understanding of and commitment to Montessori principles and teaching methods.
