Job Summary

The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the company’s overall business plan and strategic direction. This role will encompass talent management, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, and employee relations. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving HR initiatives that contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all HR matters.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.


Talent Management:

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Implement effective performance management systems to ensure high performance.
  • Oversee succession planning and career development programs.


Employee Relations:

  • Develop and maintain positive employee relations and a harmonious work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts through effective mediation and counseling.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all operational regions.


Training and Development:

  • Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to maintain competitive positioning.


HR Operations:

  • Lead the HR team in delivering high-quality HR services and support to all employees.
  • Implement HR metrics and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes and systems.


Organizational Development:

  • Drive organizational change initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
  • Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree will be preferred.
  • 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the engineering and construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
