Role Overview:

The Head of Compliance will be responsible for establishing and implementing robust compliance frameworks, monitoring regulatory changes, and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and industry standards. You will collaborate across teams to embed a culture of compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold PeaceMaker.cash's reputation as a trustworthy and secure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program that meets legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks related to digital escrow services and payment processing.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring the company adapts and remains compliant.
• Policy Development: Create internal policies, procedures, and training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements.
• Audits and Reporting: Oversee internal and external audits, and provide regular compliance reports to senior management.
• Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance-related incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with legal, product, and technology teams to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business.
• User Trust: Advocate for user protection and transparency, aligning compliance efforts with PeaceMaker.cash's core mission of trust and security.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a compliance, legal, or risk management role, preferably in fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), data protection, and consumer protection laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) or a degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
