Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design graphics for social media, newsletters, website, event promotions, and print materials.
• Collaborate with ministry teams to develop designs that communicate our message.
• Ensure designs align with the Prayer Cathedral’s brand identity.
• Create content for digital platforms, including social media graphics and web assets.
• Develop event materials like flyers, posters, brochures, and signage.
• Coordinate with vendors for print production.
• Handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage feedback.
• Send out text blasts as needed.
• Stay updated on design trends and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of graphic design experience, ideally in a church or non-profit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong skills in layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to feedback.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Knowledge of print production.
• A design portfolio is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Familiarity with church culture and Christian themes.
• Basic knowledge of web design and content management systems.

• Available to work from home on weekends during emergencies.
• Must be present to work during all major church events, for real-time editing.
