Job Summary
Global Action for Women Empowerment (GLOWA) is a women’s rights organization based in Ho, Volta region. As a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit entity, GLOWA is dedicated to addressing the health, human rights, and socio- economic challenges faced by women, girls, youth, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and children across Ghana. To support the successful expansion and sustainability of its programs and projects across the country, GLOWA is seeking a Grants and Resource Mobilization Officer to lead efforts in securing funding, building partnerships, and driving resource mobilization strategies to ensure the organization's long-term growth and impact.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve GLOWA’s resource mobilization goals.
- Research and identify potential donors, including individuals, philanthropists, foundations, corporate organizations, and international funding bodies.
- Develop compelling funding proposals, grant applications, and concept notes tailored to donor requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and donors to enhance resource mobilization efforts.
- Monitor grant compliance, report on fund utilization, and ensure timely submission of donor reports.
- Train staff and partners on fundraising strategies, proposal writing, and donor engagement.
- Organize fundraising campaigns, donor engagement events, and other activities to attract resources.
Required Qualification, Skills and Experience
To qualify for this position, you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a related role.
- Strong writing skills with experience in developing successful funding proposals.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Proficiency in identifying and engaging diverse funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of the development sector and donor landscape is a plus
- Willingness to learn on the job and adhere to safeguarding policies
- Commitment to gender equality and the wellbeing of women and persons with disabilities
- Non-partisan with well-refined language expression.

Duty Post: The suitable Grants & Resource Mobilization Officer must be willing to live in Ho, where he/she can easily interact with the local people and authorities.
The Grants & Resource Mobilization Officer will report to Project Coordinator.
