The Front-End Developer is a vital role within the team, leveraging your expertise to create easy to use software solutions based on the latest programs, languages and algorithms.

This position is based in Accra, Ghana.

What You'll Do:

With a focus on maintainability, scalability and quality, you will:

• Use modern and emerging technologies to develop fast and stable production ready applications
• Work with your fellow engineers to contribute to solution formation and help us deliver the best product possible
• Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process models, including Agile/Scrum methodologies, as well as full life cycle project management experience

Technical Skills:

• 4+ years of web frontend development experience, with a focus on modern, evolving technologies.
• Expertise in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Familiarity with Web Components, responsive design principles, and CSS Grid/Flexbox for cutting-edge, adaptive UIs.
• Strong experience in cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, including mobile-first design and progressive enhancement.
• Ability to translate Figma/Sketch/XD design systems into responsive, accessible web applications.
• A continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for adopting and promoting emerging trends such as WebAssembly, server-side rendering (SSR), or Jamstack architectures.
• Collaborative team player, able to communicate effectively with developers, designers, project managers, and QA teams.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Commitment to maintainability, scalability, and high code quality using best practices in testing, version control, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in modern backend technologies and architectures, including LAMP stacks, cloud-native development (AWS, Azure), and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with next-gen frameworks like Laravel or Node.js to build robust, flexible applications.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and data integration strategies (JSON, XML, SOAP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), ensuring smooth, automated deployments.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and commitment to iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Focus on accessibility and inclusive design principles, ensuring web applications meet WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Strong communicator, comfortable in both technical discussions and high-level strategy planning, with an eagerness to mentor and share knowledge.
• Self-driven, highly adaptable, and passionate about delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
