Food Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, testing, and improvement of food products and recipes.
• Conduct laboratory tests to assess the quality, safety, and nutritional content of food products.
• Monitor food production processes to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new food products and improve existing ones.
• Ensure that food products meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, test results, and findings.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to food production or product quality.
• Support the implementation of food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard AnalysisCritical Control Points).
• Work closely with production teams to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency.
• Keep updated on food safety regulations, technological advancements, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a food production or food testing environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and food testing techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
