Financial Controller

Job Description:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the school's overall objectives.
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Supervise the finance team and provide leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders as necessary.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the school's assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare financial statements(Annual, Bi-Annual, Termly, Monthly)reports, and presentations for the schools board of directors and other stakeholders.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.

Qualification:

• Fully qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Minimum of two years of experience in financial management.
