Financial Analyst

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.
• Review and analyze the group company’s financial performance and contribute to the strategy /recommendations for improved profitability.
• Prepare weekly cashflow statements and be able to identify urgent cash requirements.
• Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support the organization's strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that drive revenue growth, cost savings, and profitability.
• Conducting in depth country and industry research related to market opportunities, competition, regulatory environment, and macroeconomic conditions.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to senior management.
• Coordinate and facilitate the annual budgeting process, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to management on trends and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong first degree from a recognized university in Accounting, Finance or Data Science.
• At least 1-3 years’ work experience in a similar role.
• Completion or current pursuit of your CIMA, ACCA, ICA designation is a bonus.
• Extremely high proficiency in Excel as well as strong analytical background with exceptional competence in Analytical tools.
• Deep Knowledge of accounting.
• Highly organized self-starter with grit, determination, and passion for hard work.
