The Opportunity
The Treasury Analyst will be an integral member of the Compliance and Treasury team. This position will have broad responsibilities that span across tax, finance, legal, operations and accounting. This role will work on an international scale covering broad treasury and legal entities compliance initiatives for all subsidiaries, divisions, units within Abt and will require a self- motivated and proactive professional with strong communication, project management skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Support Senior Treasury Analyst to drive rationalization of bank accounts and optimal corporate banking structure to align to future business needs
- Provide recurring support in Treasury area for approving payments, bank KYC support, opening and closing bank accounts, user-entitlements, signatory updates and disbursement policy monitoring.
- Partner with tax, accounting legal to centralize and improve/automate Treasury/Compliance and Risk management processes
- Serve as a consultant to cross functional teams for operational compliance and Treasury matters
- Assist in implementation of systems and banking portal transitions
- Assist department with acquisition closings and integrations
- Lead and support long-term project management activities and training efforts related to treasury matters.
- Maintaining bank portals and bank accounts signatory list to ensure it is current
- Support cash forecasting
- Support requirements related to FBAR and AML.
What We Value
- Bachelor’s Degree + Five years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Three years of relevant experience
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Treasury, accounting, finance, international business. Past Treasury experience is a big plus.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance and other related field strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills
- Comfort with frequent international electronic and telephonic communication
- Foreign language skills are a plus as are a background or interest in foreign culture and international development sector.
- Comfort dealing with disparate corporate communications requiring consolidation.
- Willingness to maintain a resolute/strong work ethic to conclude project activities.
- Experience supporting bank relationships and executing bank documentation.
- Experience with treasury management systems, and bank online systems is a plus.
- Familiarity/exposure to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Internal Controls, and project management concepts/practices.
