Job Summary
FAWE Ghana seeks to recruit two qualified field officers. The field officer’ primary function is to oversee the implementation and monitoring of project activities at the target partner institution within the region/cluster in Ghana. The field officers will ensure that implementation schedules are met as per the detailed project activity implementation plan and strengthen adherence to systems for quality project implementation. This will include shaping and directing the organization’s work in championing girls and women’s education and engaging stakeholders to achieve the set project and organizational objectives.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Support FAWE Ghana programs by supervising and managing all activities in the Ghana region/cluster and other project sites.
- Support in the identification and selection of beneficiaries based on established criteria
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to beneficiaries to ensure compliance with program requirements and collect feedback on their experiences.
- Gather data related to beneficiary performance and program impact, which may include surveys and interviews.
- Prepare detailed reports on field activities and submit them to the Project Coordinator or relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Take the lead in preparing field reports as required
- Serve as the primary point of contact between beneficiaries and the project management team.
- Organize training sessions for beneficiaries to enhance their understanding of the bursary process, financial management, and the extended orientation program.
- Assist in developing educational materials that support beneficiaries in utilizing their financial aid effectively.
- Manage logistics related to field operations, including travel arrangements for site visits.
- Engage with local communities to promote awareness of the project within the region/cluster.
- Collaborate with partner institutions, community leaders and other stakeholders to foster support for the project.
Qualifications Requirements:
- A degree in social sciences, education, development work, education, project management, social work, or other relevant fields of study.
- 3-5 years of experience in project design and implementation in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilization projects and stakeholder engagement.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the environment and people, including culture.
- Ability to remain flexible to a changing environment and to make decisions independently.
- Strong data analytical skills. .
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal, for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite for documentation and reporting tasks.

Languages:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Working knowledge of French language will be an added advantage.

Salary Range: Attractive
Contract Type: This position is for 3 years, with a possibility of extension subject to the individual’s performance and funding availability.
