Factory Assistant (with Electrical Background)

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Assist machine operators in setting up and running machinery used in the production of plastic products.
• Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine electrical checks, troubleshoot, and assist with minor electrical repairs to machinery and equipment.
• Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines and move finished products to storage or packaging areas.
• Machine Operation: Help in the operation and monitoring of production equipment, ensuring that machines run smoothly and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality, identifying any defects or issues that need to be addressed.
• Preventative Maintenance: Assist in conducting regular preventative maintenance on machinery, focusing on electrical systems.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure electrical safety practices are followed to prevent accidents or malfunctions.
• Packaging and Labeling: Support packaging and labeling tasks, ensuring products are correctly prepared for dispatch.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
• Report Issues: Report any machinery malfunctions, electrical faults, or safety concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Relevant electrical certification or background.
• Experience in handling machinery and production processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work in a factory environment.
