Job Title: On-Site Security Manager

A reputable diplomatic mission in Accra, Ghana, is seeking an experienced On-Site Security Manager to oversee and enhance the security framework of their operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with a strong background in diplomatic or corporate security management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain situational awareness of the local security environment and establish relationships with relevant security contacts.
• Assist in security operations planning and execution in line with global security frameworks.
• Prepare risk assessments, contingency plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct security research, analysis, and briefings for staff and visitors.
• Oversee the management of external security teams and ensure contract deliverables are met.
• Ensure the maintenance of security-related equipment and liaise with service providers for repairs and upgrades.
• Provide weekly security reports, including incident summaries and upcoming risk assessments.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of the security environment in Accra and Ghana.
• Experience in security planning, crisis management, and emergency response.
• Proven ability to manage security infrastructure and liaise with contract providers and government authorities.
• Technical knowledge of security systems and equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other security-related systems.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of security experience, preferably in a diplomatic mission or similar setting.
• Ghanaian nationals or long-term residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
