The Central Square Central School District is accepting applications for the 2024/2025 school year for a Director of Pupil Personnel Services.

12 Month Position

Responsibilities Include But Not Be Limited To

• Assist with chairing, coordinating and finalizing District and Sub CSE/CPSE/504 meetings as needed
• Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) coordination of meetings, services and billing
• Conduct staff evaluations in collaboration with the Executive Director of PPS
• Assist with supervision of out of District student placements, contractual agreements and agency related services, including BOCES programs
• McKinney Vento oversight; including communication with families, district staff, and transportation
• Collaborate with literacy coaches/curriculum consultants regarding reading and math interventions and supports for students with disabilities
• Oversight of NYSAA test administration and data reporting
• Support building administrators and staff with behavior strategies and interventions
• Facilitate Professional Development planning and execution for district staff
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding special education, 504 plans, and other student services.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field preferred
• NYS SDL Administrative Certification required
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
