This role ensures that all projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and according to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
Main Duties:
Operational Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring effective resource allocation, scheduling, and communication.
Project Management:
- Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure that all architectural and construction projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to streamline project workflows and resolve conflicts.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in project execution and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Technology and Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to ensure the company remains competitive and agile.
KPIs
- 90% of projects completed within the planned timeline and approved budget.
- Maintain or exceed a 15% profit margin on all projects.
- Less than 5% of projects require significant rework due to quality issues.
- Zero safety incidents or regulatory compliance issues across all projects.
- Achieve 95% resource utilization efficiency on all projects.
- Successfully implement 2 new technologies or processes that improve operational efficiency by 10% annually.
- De-risk projects prior to commencement so they do not suffer risk-related disruptions
- 100% compliance with all regulatory standards across all projects.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics or Civil Engineering, A professional qualification certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Construction processes
- Proven ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues effectively and efficiently.
