Job Description/Requirements
Job Summary
The successful candidate would be required to:
- Play a vital role in the management of staff of the Judicial Service by providing advice and expertise on human resource issues.
- Source and select quality staff for the Service and ensure that they are properly oriented on the vision and mission of the Service.
- Implement training and development programs that can enhance staff talent and skills.
- Design, implement and monitor adherence to HR policies in the areas of Recruitment, Training and Development, Employee Relations, Rewards Management, Human Resource Information Systems, Administrative policies and procedures.
- Ensure employee motivation, retention and utilisation.
- Undertake regular review of HR and administrative systems, policies and procedures to ensure conformity with best practices.
Qualification Required & Experience
- Masters Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field from a recognised university.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access.
- Excellent writing, communication and research skills.
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in similar managerial position from the Public Service or private sector
