Digital Marketing Associate

Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Campaign Management

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and web.
• Write compelling copy for blog posts, newsletters, ads, and landing pages.
• Create and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing goals.

Social Media Management

• Manage Blossom’s presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Grow our online community by engaging with followers and influencers.
• Track performance and optimize content for reach and engagement.

Website & SEO

• Collaborate with web developer(s) to ensure site content is optimized for SEO.
• Track and improve organic traffic using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.

Brand Storytelling

• Support the creation of student and alumni success stories.
• Contribute to impact reporting and visual storytelling campaigns.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in education, tech, or social impact.
• Proficiency in tools like Meta Business Manager, Canva, Mailchimp, and basic CMS platforms.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and adapt campaigns.
• Passion for youth empowerment, education, and African development.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience marketing to Gen Z or low-bandwidth markets.
• Familiarity with basic design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, CapCut).
• Previous work with remote or distributed teams across Africa.
