Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Management:
- Accurately input and update data into various Excel spreadsheets, databases, and other data management tools.
- Ensure data is correct, consistent, and properly formatted.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports using Excel, providing insights for management review.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables) to process, analyze, and visualize data.
Excel Expertise:
- Manage large datasets, sort and filter information to meet specific business needs.
- Create, update, and maintain complex Excel formulas, functions, and macros to streamline data processing.
Quality Control and Data Integrity:
- Review and audit data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources.
- Address discrepancies and errors by communicating with relevant departments to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance) to gather, verify, and update data.
- Provide support to other team members in relation to data management and entry tasks as needed.
Database Management:
- Maintain, update, and optimize data storage systems to ensure seamless access to information.
- Backup and archive critical data on a regular schedule to ensure no loss of important information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably with a focus on Excel-based data management.
