Ada Rural Bank PLC seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Credit and Marketing Manager



Job Summary



• The Credit and Marketing Manager will report to the CEO and is responsible for monitoring the health of the bank's loans and advances portfolio through the implementation of a robust credit management and administration functions throughout the bank

• With regard to the Marketing role, the ideal person for the position will be the direct supervisor of the marketing officer who is responsible for implementing the Marketing Plan and Corporate Branding activities of the Bank



Core Job Responsibilities



• Serve as a Technical Advisor to the Management Credit Committee

• Provide ongoing credit management training to staff

• Manage relations with credit reporting agencies and credit insurance providers

• Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management

• Collect, register, keep safe custody of monitor and submit regulatory reports on all collaterals

• Lead the processing of application, approval and disbursement of all loans, overdrafts and other advances according to board approved limits and processes

• Lead loans and advances recovery activities

• Preparation and submission of prudential or statutory reports

• Present periodic portfolio reports to management and board

• Manage and supervise the marketing officer to deliver marketing activities and brand visbility



Qualification Required & Experience



• First Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Banking, Economics or other related fields

• A Master's Degree, Full or part professional qualification in Banking or other related fields (e.g. ACIB, CICM, CIMG, etc) will be an added advantage

• 5 years of experience in credit appraisal, monitoring and recovery preferably at senior management level

• Good analytical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills

• High level of professionalism and personal integrity

• Proficiency in Ms Excel , Ms Word and Ms Powerpoint

• Good working knowledge in T24 Banking application
