Construction Lead

Responsibilities:

Supervise team to complete construction projects

• Enter payroll hours for construction team.
• Perform pond construction.
• Perform pond clean-outs.

Provide on-site customer service with customer, including site walk-through

• Review checklist.
• Explain general issues.
• Discuss pre-site conditions.
• Provide product literature

Check job order/material for accuracy

• Document and communicate daily work activity.
• Coordinate daily schedule with team
• Report any material issues such as late deliveries, shortages, or inaccuracies.
• Take before and after photos, videos and time lapses of job site.
• Do engineering drawings where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree in HND/Degree in Engineering/Construction Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering, knowledge of pond industry a plus
• Project management /supervisory experience in a similar environment
• Valid driver’s license.
• Available to work Monday – Friday 6am to 6pm
• Punctuality required
• Some weekend work may be required throughout the year
• Knowledge in operating any heavy equipment is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
• Ability to travel to multiple site locations to meet the needs of the business
• Ability to be challenged, and thinking out of the box

• Be site-disciplined.

Physical Demands:

• The position lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and be able to bend, stoop, and squat throughout an 8–12-hour shift.
