Communications Manager

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Communication: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey CLCD Ghana's mission, vision, and impact to stakeholders.
• Report writing: Ability to effectively articulate ideas, findings, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and organized manner to convey information accurately.
• Proofreading: Attention to detail and meticulousness in reviewing written content to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards before dissemination.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure press coverage and amplify our organization's presence in the media.
• Content Creation: Produce compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates, to engage our audience and drive awareness of our initiatives.
• Digital Engagement: Manage CLCD Ghana's digital platforms, including website and social media channels, to foster meaningful engagement and dialogue with our community.
• Event Management: Coordinate communications efforts for events, workshops, and campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and maximum visibility

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in communications, public relations, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in media relations, including pitching stories and managing press inquiries.
• Proficiency in digital marketing and social media management tools
