Role Purpose Assess, review and manage living benefit claims, in accordance with relevant legislation and company policy, adhering to service level agreements and meeting client and business expectations.

Requirements

  • First degree in business administration, accounting, or related field from a recognised university
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Appraise pension claims for eligibility by verifying claimant details and ensuring compliance with plan rules and regulations.
  • Communicate with claimants and/or their representatives to provide updates, clarify requirements, and guide them through the claims process.
  • Apply pension rules and regulations accurately while ensuring all claims are processed within legal and contractual frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate claims records, analyze data to identify trends, and prepare insightful reports for decision-making.
  • Deliver outstanding service by answering inquiries, explaining pension benefits clearly, and building trust with clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine claims procedures, ensuring efficiency and a seamless claimant experience.
  • : Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and provide feedback to improve pension services and offerings.
  • Assist in developing resources to educate stakeholders about pension benefits, claims processes, and available options.
