Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with consultant (if any) on all civil works and also supervise sub-contractor on all civil works at site.
• Supervise construction works, ensure quality control procedures are effectively followed by sub-contractors and works are produced as designed and specified including safety protocols.
• Participate in setting out at new sites.
• Explain engineering designs for all civil and structural works to clients, where necessary.
• Liase with EPS to assess environment impact and risk connection of building projects.
• Resolve design and development problems and also provide guidance and supervision to all lower staff at site be they temporary or permanent.
• The Jobholder may be required to perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• It is the responsibility of the jobholder to prepare schedule of works.
• Develop and submit bi-weekly and monthly and/ or quarterly progress report.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity & Construction Economics / Construction Technology & Management or a related field.
• A proactive and initiative taking attitude and approach to business.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, maintaining confidentiality as needed.
• Problem-solving skills.
