Our client, an affiliate of a global nonprofit organization, is dedicated to inspiring hope and improving the lives of children by providing shoes as a foundation for a healthy life, promoting Health, Opportunities, Peace, and Education (H.O.P.E.). Committed to distributing shoes worldwide, the organization envisions a future where every child experiences love, dignity, and hope. Our client seeks to hire a CEO who will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to execute the organization’s mission and vision effectively, dynamic and a mission-driven leader with expertise in nonprofit management, community engagement, and relationship-building, serving as a local agent to market, publicize, and promote the organization’s services.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand Our Client reach and impact.
- Develop a business plan that establishes KPIs, metrics, and milestones.
- Align local initiatives with the overarching goals and guidelines of the international organization.
- Build partnerships with government agencies, corporations, and other nonprofits to advance the organization's mission.
- Build a diverse and supportive board to support the organization’s mission.
- Obtain nonprofit and duty-free status.
Program Management
- Design and implement a national distribution strategy, including community outreach programs to identify and assess the needs of target beneficiaries.
- Monitor program outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Procure donated shoes by building partnerships with national and global shoe manufacturers.
- Protect the organization’s brand through marketing initiatives and events.
- Use monitoring and evaluation (M&E) formats to collect data and share impact.
Fundraising and Resource Mobilization
- Design and execute sustainable fundraising strategies to include community outreach programs and identify the needs of target beneficiaries.
- Secure funds for shoe procurement and operational expenses through effective fundraising initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and grant-making institutions.
- Establish partnerships with corporate entities willing to sponsor initiatives through monetary donations, in-kind contributions, or employee volunteer programs.
- Oversee grant applications from governmental agencies, foundations, and international organizations supporting disadvantaged populations.
- Set up a donation platform on the organization’s website for one-time or recurring contributions.
- Recruit volunteers for fundraising activities, community outreach, shoe distribution events, and administrative tasks.
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily operations, including finance, HR, and logistics.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, organizational policies, and international standards.
- Provide monthly profit and loss (P&L) recaps.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Provide training, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Advocacy and Public Engagement
- Act as the primary spokesperson for Our Client.
- Raise awareness about the organization's mission and programs through media, events, and community engagement.
- Advocate for the needs of underserved populations in collaboration with other stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector or a related field
- Proven experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and program management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences.
- Experience working with international organizations and managing cross-cultural relationships.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting.
- Passion for community service and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
