Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of food preparation and menu development. The Chef will be responsible for crafting high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and managing kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and prepare innovative, high-quality dishes that align with the restaurant’s style and vision.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and service during operating hours.
- Develop and regularly update the menu based on seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and current food trends.
- Oversee food inventory, ordering, and stocking to ensure ingredients are fresh and sufficient for daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen that complies with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to create promotions, special menus, and events that attract customers.
- Ensure food is consistently prepared and served to the highest standards in both taste and presentation.
- Implement and enforce strict hygiene and food safety protocols to meet local health department regulations.
- Respond to customer feedback and address any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in cooking and food safety.
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a kitchen team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments, especially during peak dining hours.
- Familiarity with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control practices.
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and keeping up with culinary trends.
