Savannah International Academy is looking for dedicated and highly qualified Teachers with proven expertise in preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level examinations. The applicant must have a track record of delivering excellent results, and must be able to prove these results in the following subject areas to join our academic team:

·         Physics with Science Laboratory experience

·         Chemistry

·         Biology

·         Mathematics

·         English Language/Literature

·         French

·         Enterprise

Start Date: January 2025

Location: Savannah International Academy, Tamale, Ghana

Key Responsibilities:

 ·     Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and activities that align with Cambridge standards.

 ·     Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction at the IGCSE and A-Level, aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards, using a variety of teaching methods including Active learning to engage students and meet their needs.

 ·     Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE and A-Level examinations, with a focus on achieving high outcomes.

 ·    Track and analyze student progress, offering timely feedback and support as needed.

 ·    Organize subject-related activities to enhance understanding and practical application of course concepts.

 ·    Maintain professionalism by staying current with new teaching methodologies and subject area developments.

 ·    Support co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives to foster student engagement and passion for learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

·     A Bachelor's degree or higher in the subject area or a related field.

·    Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level.

·    Proven track record of student success in external examinations.

·   Strong familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum.

·    Intermediate knowledge on the use of Microsoft 365.

·    Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
