Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth and revenue goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs across business units.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and competitors.
  • Analyze market data and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and business plans
  • Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define business goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure all contractual terms are met and manage ongoing client relationships.
  • Manage budgets allocated for business development activities.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and maximize return on investment.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff and team members involved in business development activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and challenges.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving business development and sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.


Skills and Abilities:

An ideal candidate should have the:

  • Ability to analyze market data, trends, and financial reports to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and presentations.
  • Expertise in negotiating contracts and closing deals with clients and partners.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to maintain and grow client and partner relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects business units and priorities.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing market conditions and business environments.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
