Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth and revenue goals.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs across business units.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and competitors.
- Analyze market data and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and business plans
- Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to define business goals and objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure all contractual terms are met and manage ongoing client relationships.
- Manage budgets allocated for business development activities.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and maximize return on investment.
- Provide training and support to junior staff and team members involved in business development activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
- Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Proven track record of achieving business development and sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
