Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities in the IT industry.
- Analyze competitors, market conditions, and customer needs to develop strategies for business growth.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and industry developments to align the company’s offerings with market demands.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and attending industry events or trade shows.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within potential client organizations.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to pitch the company’s IT solutions, products, and services tailored to client needs.
- Understand client business challenges and provide consultative sales support to offer customized IT solutions.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations to secure new business deals.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales collateral to support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with the product and technical teams to understand the capabilities of the company's IT solutions and effectively communicate these to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new clients.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on key performance metrics, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
Customer Feedback and Market Insights:
- Gather feedback from clients and prospects to provide input into product development and service enhancement.
- Provide market insights and intelligence to help shape the company’s strategic direction and product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or account management within the IT industry
- Ability to drive
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, including software, hardware, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
