The Opportunity
We are searching for a highly driven and passionate individual who will lead the market
engagement and partnerships of VDL’s groundbreaking service offerings, by committing to
take the product to market successfully through business and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities
● Discover and pursue new sales prospects, identifying opportunities to expand our client
base and strengthen our market presence.
● Lead negotiations for new deals, showcasing your skills in securing mutually beneficial
agreements that drive growth.
● Engage with customers through various channels—email, phone, and face-to-face
meetings—to build lasting relationships and understand their unique business needs.
● Conduct thorough fact-finding sessions with new clients to gain a deep understanding of
their business, ensuring tailored solutions.
● Initiate personalized conversations with clients to align our services with their specific
requirements, demonstrating our commitment to meeting their needs.
● Provide outstanding customer service in every interaction, ensuring client satisfaction
and solidifying our reputation as a trusted partner.
● Develop and implement sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analysing
sales data through weekly reports.
● Lead pitches, presentations, and other documents that may be required for stakeholder
engagement.
● Coordinate appointments and calls between management and customers for discussing
new opportunities and business expansion.
Education & Experience Requirements
• Good experience in a KPI led role, such as sales or recruitment.
• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a
sales role with one of the following industries: B2B SaaS sales, delivery companies is
desirable but not a requirement.
• The ability to work independently and support your department and peers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Great problem-solving skills with a creative edge.
• The ability to build strong relationships, listen nd understand what makes people tick.
• A continuous improvement mindset and attitude; we do not want someone who will settle
for the status quo, new ideas are certainly encouraged!
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
