Reports to: HEAD OF MARKETING
PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:
The Brand Supervisor is responsible for supervising the implementation and performance of brand strategies to strengthen brand equity, increase market share, and ensure customer loyalty. The incumbent leads and supports a team of Brand Executives and collaborates cross-functionally to execute integrated marketing plans.
This role requires a strong leader with experience in brand management, market analysis, and campaign execution who can drive high performance and ensure alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, primary responsibilities of the Brand Supervisor include:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Brand Executives in the execution of brand marketing initiatives.
- Develop and manage annual brand plans, budgets, and marketing calendars in alignment with corporate goals.
- Evaluate and optimise brand and marketing strategies based on performance metrics and consumer insights.
- Oversee execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels.
- Conduct strategic brand analysis, including sales performance, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Champion customer-centric innovation and identify growth opportunities within the product portfolio.
- Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Guide and approve the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Service teams to align marketing efforts with business needs.
- Monitor market trends and consumer behaviour to inform brand positioning and communication.
- Manage brand performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Support the Head of Marketing in strategic planning, research, and departmental leadership.
- Assist in the design and implementation of training programmes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with marketing policies, brand guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Represent the marketing department in cross-functional project teams and initiatives.
- Undertake other projects or responsibilities as delegated by the Head of Marketing.
Minimum qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum experience/Skills/Attributes required:
- At least 4–6 years of progressive experience in marketing or brand management.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior marketing staff.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand strategies and integrated campaigns.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in marketing analytics and performance measurement.
- Passionate about brand building, innovation, and customer advocacy.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and marketing tools/platforms.
